MakerPicked Affiliate Program Terms
Effective date: August 6, 2026
These operational terms govern the MakerPicked affiliate program. Participants should obtain their own legal and tax advice for the countries in which they operate.
1. Application and approval
Participation is free, by application, and subject to manual approval. MakerPicked may approve, reject, suspend, or close an account to protect customers, the brand, or program integrity.
2. Two-tier structure
An approved affiliate currently earns 12% on eligible merchandise revenue from their own attributable sales. If a new affiliate applies through an approved affiliate’s recruiting link, the sponsor may earn a 3% team commission on eligible sales made by that directly recruited affiliate. There is only one sponsor level. No commission, fee, or reward is paid merely for recruiting or enrolling another person.
The combined program cost is capped at 15% of eligible merchandise revenue under the standard rate. MakerPicked may announce different rates for a specific product or campaign before the referral occurs.
3. Referral tracking and attribution
Referral links currently use a 30-day cookie and last-referrer attribution. Tracking can fail when a buyer blocks cookies, changes browser or device, or removes referral parameters. Orders without reliable attribution are not commissionable. Sponsor relationships are recorded when an affiliate applies through a valid recruiting link and normally remain fixed.
4. Eligible revenue and approval
Commission is calculated after discounts on eligible merchandise only. Shipping, taxes, refunded amounts, chargebacks, cancelled orders, fraudulent orders, self-referrals, and test orders are excluded. Commission stays pending until the order is valid and then remains subject to a 30-day refund review period.
5. Payouts
The minimum payout balance is USD 50. Payouts are reviewed and processed manually through an agreed method. Affiliates are responsible for accurate payout details and their own taxes, declarations, banking fees, and legal obligations.
6. Required disclosure
Affiliates must clearly and prominently disclose their commercial relationship with MakerPicked wherever a product is promoted, following the advertising, endorsement, privacy, and consumer-protection rules applicable to the audience and location.
7. Prohibited conduct
Self-referrals, fake orders, circular accounts, cookie stuffing, forced redirects, spam, misleading earnings claims, impersonation, unauthorized trademark bidding, false discounts, and intellectual-property infringement are prohibited. Affiliates must not make unverified claims about specifications, certifications, safety, delivery times, or guarantees.
8. Reversals, records, and termination
MakerPicked may reject or reverse direct and team commissions connected to refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate attribution, policy violations, or technical errors. Program records maintained by MakerPicked control unless a documented correction is required. On termination, valid approved balances remain subject to normal review and payout rules.
9. Changes
Rates, eligible products, attribution rules, and payout procedures may change prospectively. Material changes will be posted in the affiliate portal or communicated to active affiliates.
